Contabo changed their VPS pricing again

$

0

Seems like Contabo changed their pricing yet again on their affordable line of KVM virtual servers.. now the prices start from just 3.99 euros per month, but with some slight changes to the actual specifications for the machines.

"VPS 300
CPU: 2 CPU cores
RAM: 4GB
HDD: 300GB
3.99 euros per month

VPS S SSD
SSD: 200GB
CPU: four cores
RAM: 8GB"

Personally I haven't tried out these new packages yet, but the price looks awesome and may give Netcup a bit of solid competition.

So I'm looking to upload like 80GB of additional photos from my trip to Australia a while back. Is there any limit enforced?

VPS/Dedi provider for mission critical services?

Hey guys

I'm wondering what providers you use for mission-critical stuff?

Cheap GPU server

$

Looking for some rendering experiments, ideally under $70/m or less. Do not need much power; RX480, RX560, Geforce 960/970 level stuff is perfectly fine.

Alternatively: cheap dedi + I ship a GPU over

Location: US/EU
CPU: i3/i5+ 2nd/3rd gen -grade, like E3-12xx or something is probably fine, Core2Duo is not
Disk: 1 small SSD 120G enough
BW: 5-10TB @ 100m

How to build your own NeverBounce without getting banned?

$
0
0

Hi guys, in a company I work for, sometimes we spend $200 per month for validating emails in neverbounce.com (we validate all the emails for marketing campaigns before reaching new people using Intercom email marketing), so I started a prototype for email validation trough SMTP: basically I ask emails servers if the email exist, as lot of third party services do, like:
https://tools.verifyemailaddress.io/

The problem is after a while we received an email from our dedicated server provider saying we got listed in UCEPROTECT and they are going to suspend our server if we don't fix the issue. We told them we are not sending spam, we are just validating if emails are valid, and it looks like some of the email servers doesn't like this kind of SMTP conversation.

So I'm wondering how these class of services work, maybe they have their own servers in collocation? Do you know what is the best VPS/server provider for this kind of services?

SSD Reseller hosting.

Hi guys,
Looking for a SSD Reseller Hosting. Would be better if host is using cloudlinux and has autossl enabled. Also if there is no account number limitation, it will be preferred as it will be used to host many small business' static websites. Mail ports shouldn't be blocked but can have an acceptable limit or should enable them on request.(like buyvm). DdoS protection will be an added advantage.
Size / budget : post your best offer/ 20 usd/mo
Location : Europe/Asia (preferred)/under 150ms to India.
Willing to pay annually to get better offer. Would happily go with buyvm if they have larger plan

MXroute.io has been acquired by MailChannels

Just received this:

It is our pleasure to let you know that MailChannels has acquired MXroute.io. Your MXroute.io account will soon be upgraded to a full MailChannels Cloud account.

Your current payment method (i.e. PayPal) has been disconnected from MXroute.io. When your next MXroute.io renewal payment is due, you will need to accept having your payment go to a new PayPal account operated by MailChannels, otherwise your service will be discontinued.

We are working hard to transition you to a full MailChannels account before the end of November, at which time we will contact you with further instructions. MailChannels generally bills its customers by credit card; however, we do allow PayPal pre-payments in increments of USD $50 or more.

FAQ

Will my price stay the same?
Your pricing has not changed and will not change for the rest of the year.

Can I keep my current price next year?
If you convert to an annual term before the end of December, you can maintain the current price through the end of that annual period.

What currency will I be billed in?
During the transition period, you will continue to be billed in whichever currency in which you are currently billed. After the transition period, you will be billed in US Dollars.

What if I need support?
For support, please contact support@mailchannels.com to open a ticket.

What if I have a billing issue?
For billing issues, please contact billing@mailchannels.com.

Is VAT included in my payments?
MailChannels is a Canadian corporation, and as such does not collect VAT except from Canadian customers. Canadian customers must pay the Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).

Please feel free to reply to this message if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to interacting with you more as a direct customer of MailChannels.

Sincerely,

Miguel Varela, Founder & CEO, MXroute.io

Ken Simpson, Founder and CEO, MailChannels

It's obvious that pricing won't stay the same. This acquisition is a bummer. Anyone knows of an alternative to mxroute.io?
