Is WHMCS included with the 8$/mo reseller plan ?
Does cPanel have Let's Encrypt or AutoSSL plugin?
Is the storage SSD ?

And please tell the RAM and cores i will get.

i own domin.xyz from namecheap
i switch namecheap nameserver to cloudflare's ones. (website working perfectly)

i signed up shaerd Cpanel hosting account.
when i add A record : ftp.domin.xyz to cloudflare DNS - i cannot FTP via filezilla
the shared hosting company provided me 2 name server

Q) So is it possible to have domain name hosted a cloudflare but it's A record IP pointing to shared IP listed in Cpanel?

Hetzner announces SX61 storage server refresh and hosted nextcloud

Storage junkies might like to see today's SX62 announcement:

That's an update of the SX61 so now it has 4x10TB HDD's (somewhat expected given the introduction of the SX132 and SX292 a couple months ago) and interestingly, it now has an E3-1270v3 processor with 32GB of ECC ram, instead of the previous i7-3770 with no ECC. Price is the same as the SX61's old price (69 euro/m in DE or 64 in FI, plus 69e setup fee).

They also announced hosted Nextcloud (NX) storage plans, at the same prices as the StorageBox (BX) line:

I don't really know how interesting that is, whether it allows making public volumes, etc. If it's on the same cluster as StorageBox then I hope it doesn't slow StorageBox too much. I'm not likely to use it myself.

The SX62 is a welcome evolutionary development and I appreciate the ECC memory. It occurs to me it would be great to have a bigger model with 6 drives, between the SX62 and the 10-drive SX132. The idea is to allow a more efficient RAID6 setup, that survives 2 drives failing without using 50% of the drive space. Going from 4 drives to 6 would increase usable storage from 20TB to 40TB, doubling space with hopefully <= 50% cost increment.

Maybe the BX line can get another price drop soon! It last had one a couple of years ago, I think.

Hello,
I'm looking for VPS to host a game server (also TS3 server). The game utilizes only one core that means I need a CPU with decent single core perfomance. I'm currently renting a dedicated server with 3770k, but that's an overkill for my needs.

Requirements:

2 or 3 cores, at least one of them guaranteed to have perfomance that is better or at least on the same level as my current configuration and has to be dedicated
RAM: 4GB
Storage: 50 GB SSD min
Location preferably in UK/Netherlands, altough other options in Europe will do too
Network: 100Mbps or higher
Budget: I'm considering proposals up to 25€/month

Another year gone by and another invoice in my mailbox reminding me that Black Friday deals are upon us.
Anno Domine 2017 I was hunting for some new prey to dump my unvisited blog and underused VPN on and among the lackluster Black Friday offers I noticed a sweet deal from eastern europe. 1vCore 1GB RAM 10GB SSD 1IPv4 1 IPv6 for ~13,50€ per year with locations all over the world. I went with Amsterdam [Netherlands].

I've looked into the company to avoid a dead pool and can't tell you if this is a one man shop but they look too big for one. The guy running the show is Dmitry Deineka from Ukraine living and operating out of Bulgaria right now. They got a seperate company in the US and used to have post boxes in the countries they had servers in but those I can find no longer.

Current bench running all the stuff I need. You can compare it to my old virgin bench from a year ago. Sequential write speed went down hard and failed speedtests are dead servers. Everything works fine on my side so if you got a better bench script do tell.

What I didn't like:

Only 1 IPv6, more cost 0,01€ each
Their backend (ISPSystem) is overwhelming and intimidating at first
IPv6 isn't preinstalled in the offered distributions
extra fee for paying with PayPal
Automated invoice doesn't apply discounts. You need to renew manually to get the good price

What I like:

The VPS feels fast
Good uptime
Privacy. They only want your name, email and PayPal account
It just works

Long story short the server still runs fine, I never needed the support, the uptime is good for the price and should you need a small VPS for your personal projects you won't regret it.

Hello all,

I've been experimenting a bit with the idea of combining two network connections to get faster download speed due to that I'm stuck with slow ADSL.

I do have a dedicated unlimited 4G card running on the same machine, but the speeds are not that great and therefore it would be nice to be able to combine the two connections.

The software Inetfusion have been able to do so and it has been working somewhat good considering the circumstances, but the software is paid and there is only a limited trial that expires in 7 days.

Therefore I thought I would ask here to see if anyone knows if there is any way to achieve a similar setup without paying for software?

OVH "Premium" Bandwidth Question

For those of you who have been able to compare both OVH's standard and Premium (or better) bandwidth packages, does their peering/routing take a big hit with their standard package?

Low latency is important to us, and after running a number of traceroutes and ping tests on OVH's test IP, found it to be quite a bit better than most of the competitors we put them up against. Now, since I'm sure their test IP is running on their "Premium Bandwidth," I'm afraid of finding my actual latency to our users once I get a standard box will be much worse.

~$100 USD extra for this "Premium Bandwidth" is not exactly something I'm excited about paying for.

So, hoping someone can steer us in the right direction here on whether this premium stuff is actually worth it, or just some silly marketing gimmick.

i have 2 server nginx storage mp4 video. i have set "limit_rate 1m" and "limit_rate_after 10m" on location but only limit_rate is work. i have search and know "limit_rate_after" will transfer first 10MB of video is fast then limit to 1MB/s. but when i test loading video, it just transfer 1MB/s when begin start video (not 10MB fast transfer first). there is my vhost configure:

Hi all

Recently I have heard that there is like 14 second latency between South America, Middle East, South East Asia connecting to/from Europe.

I wonder if here are some users from those places (Paraguay, Iraq, Cambodia, etc.) that could post ping output to following server:
ping 193.2.1.72
(It's Arnes DNS server located in Slovenia).

I'm sitting next to it so latency is in ~5ms range.
